proposed Services

The Network Marketing Federal Credit Union* (nemaFCU) will be Internet based with no “brick and mortar” branches.  We will provide around the clock support via telephone, email and fax, 365 days a year.  Traditional branches have become an expensive façade to an electronic infrastructure.  Buy avoiding the physical branch costs, we can turn our savings into better rates and additional services for our members.  By delivering services via the Internet, the Network Marketing Federal Credit Union* (nemaFCU) will be able to offer competitive rates on all services to our members.  Our virtual, highly automated system will deliver real-time member response and consistent user experience across all member services.

Credit unions offer many of the same financial services as banks, often using a different terminology. in a controlled and phased manner, the Network Marketing Federal Credit Union* (nemaFCU) will offer the following services and products to our members:

Share (savings) accounts; personal and business
Share draft (checking) accounts; personal and business
Share term certificates (certificates of deposit)

  • Personal loans
  • Commission advance
  • Courtesy pay (overdraft protection)
  • New Distributor start-up loans (SBA express loan)
  • Open lines of credit
  • New and used vehicle loans / leases
  • Home equity loans
  • First mortgages
  • Credit, debit, gift and stored value cards with rewards
  • Merchant services (accept credit and debit cards)
  • Electronic checks (Automated Clearing House (ACH))
  • Direct deposit
  • Online and mobile access

All federal credit unions have federal deposit insurance (called "share insurance") through the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund of at least $250,000 per member and up to $1,250,000.00** under certain conditions.  This federal deposit insurance is backed by the full faith and credit of the United States government and is administered by the National Credit Union Administration.  As of December 2006, the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund had a higher insurance fund capital ratio than the FDIC Bank Insurance Fund.
